The Fault in Our Stars

I have just finished that infamous book The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I have to say it was a real tear jerker. Throughout the whole book I had a roller costar of emotions. For an example when Gus confessed his love for Hazel I did not know how to feel happy or sad. "She is so beautiful. You don't get tired of looking at her. You never worry if she is smarter than you: You know she is. She is funny without ever being mean. I love her. I am so lucky to love her, Van Houten. You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world, old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers." (Green 313)

I was conflicted how to feel because they are in love and happy with one another. But on the flip side you know that Hazel has terminal cancer and Gus is recovered from his but it could come back. So you know that they are both living like today is their last day. This causes the reader to be conflicted in their emotions throughout the book. This book, The Fault in Our Stars is a must read for everyone! If that didn't make you want to read it watch the trailer from the up incoming movie based of the book The Fault in Our Stars.
