Divergent and Hunger Games Comparison

Today I'm going to compare two of the favorite book series Divergent and Hunger Games. First I'll compare the relationships in the books. In Divergent the relationship between Tobias and Tris is constant throughout the book and they are always there for each other. You can really tell that their love is true. Unlike Huger Games were at the beginning of the book Katniss has a fake relationship with Peeta but might have feelings for Gale. Then at the end of the series kind of abruptly if I do say so myself Gale goes off to the military and Katniss ends up with Peeta. And the love shown in Divergent seems more real than the loves in Hunger Games.

Next, I'm going to compare the conflicts that take place in the books Divergent and Hunger Games. On a side note a similarity between the two are that they take place in futuristic America. Ok, back on track when you look at the broad scheme of things you can see that both of the stories main conflicts are about corruption in their society that tries to control them. Also at the end of the conflicts in the society end up collapsing in violence. As you can see Divergent and Hunger Games series have similarities and differences and if you liked one you will most definably like the other I would highly recommend these series to anyone who likes books that you just can't put down.

  3. Although I haven't read Divergent, I would have to agree that the relationship between Katniss and Peeta isn't real.
